Dallas County Voters Assured Official's Resignation Won't Disrupt Primary

Dallas County officials are assuring voters that the resignation of the number-two elections official won't disrupt next week's primaries. County Judge Clay Jenkins says deputy elections administrator Robert Heard resigned on Tuesday because of a family emergency. The county elections department has recently had compatibility problems with its new electronic voting equipment, as well as a new warehouse that's not ready to store voting gear.
